Welcome
At Hampton, Brown & Associates, we assist our clients with their tax and accounting needs and achieving economic goals. Many times the goals of clients are not established and even when they are established they may change over time. We will help identify and set goals where appropriate. We will also help develop the plans for accomplishing these goals. We do ask for the assistance and cooperation from clients to permit us to be as effective as possible in helping clients to accomplish their goals.
The primary tool that our firm uses to help our clients accomplish their goals is to provide Federal income and estate tax services and financial planning in a manner that permits our clients to control the tax impact on their economic environnment to the maximum extent possible. The most important element of this tool is "planning".
"Planning" can only be done if the client makes the commitment to participate in the planning in two ways. The first way is by buying into the concept that planning is the key to accomplishing economic goals and agreeing to actively participate. The second way is by effective communication. Effective communication will occur if information for estimates, tax returns, etc. is furnished on a timely basis and if discussion of the information, estimates and progress towards goals happens periodically during the year. These matters are not, however, the most important element of the effective communication.
If you are willing to become involved in goal setting, if you are willing to commit the time and resources necessary to proceed towards your goals, if you are willing to be part of an effective communication effort, then you are exactly the type of client that our firm wishes to attract, serve and retain.
